Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Sandy People Search does not save a copy of those searches on its own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you place in your message and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain Sandy People Search and learn which local-record resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How the Data Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operation, error diagnosis, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Sandy People Search links to Sandy City departments, Salt Lake County offices, Utah government portals, libraries, and outside search tools. Information entered on a linked service is subject to that service's privacy terms, not this policy. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third-party company.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information already described. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, Sandy People Search does not share visitor data.
Safeguarding Your Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only for the time needed to serve the purposes stated above. Because no visitor accounts are offered, Sandy People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
Sandy People Search is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information so it can be removed.

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, gives qualifying consumers rights that include access or confirmation, correction, deletion of supplied data, portability, and opting out of certain targeted advertising or sales. Those consumer rights do not erase government records. Sandy City and Salt Lake County classify public, private, controlled, and protected records under the Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2. Questions about correcting or restricting an official record must go to the government custodian that holds it.
